Support the NSS

Great music doesn't happen by accident. It happens because a community believes in it.

The National String Symphonia brings exceptional musicians, adventurous repertoire, and inspiring live performances to audiences throughout our region. But ticket sales cover less than 10% of the cost of producing our concerts. The rest comes from people and organizations who believe that great music should be part of a vibrant community.

Your support makes the difference. It helps us pay professional musicians, present ambitious programs, champion composers whose music deserves to be heard, and bring the power of live string orchestra music to audiences of all ages.

When you support the NSS, you aren't simply helping us balance a budget. You're helping make the music possible.

Individual Gifts

Every gift matters. Ticket sales cover only about a tenth of what it costs to bring an NSS concert to the stage. Individual donors make up the difference—and growing our circle of supporters is one of our highest priorities.

Your gift helps put musicians on stage, bring exciting repertoire to life, and keep NSS concerts accessible to our community. Whether you give $25, $250, or $2,500, your generosity directly supports the music you love.

Donations can be made through PayPal, Zelle, or by check.

Corporate & Business Sponsors

Invest in the arts. Invest in our community.

Businesses, corporations, and foundations are important partners in the NSS's success. Sponsorship support helps us maintain artistic excellence while expanding the ways we connect with audiences throughout the Baltimore-Washington region.

Sponsorships can support the NSS as a whole or be directed toward a particular concert, program, or community initiative. Let's create a partnership that makes an impact.

Fundraisers

Want to do more than write a check?

Fundraising brings friends, audiences, and supporters together to help sustain the NSS. Special events and community fundraising efforts provide vital support for musicians, performances, educational programs, and outreach.

Whether you're organizing an event, rallying your friends, or looking for a creative way to support the orchestra, there's a place for you in the effort.

Symphonia Guild

Be more closely connected to the NSS.

The National String Symphonia Guild is a community of volunteers who help make the orchestra's work possible. Guild members lend their time, energy, and enthusiasm to support NSS performances and activities throughout the season.

Guild membership also includes benefits such as discounted tickets and invitations to special events.

Government & Foundation Grants

Building a stronger musical community takes partners.

Government agencies and private foundations provide essential support that allows the NSS to pursue artistic excellence, develop innovative programs, and deepen our engagement with communities throughout the Baltimore-Washington area.

Grant support can provide general operating assistance or help make a specific concert, educational program, or community initiative possible.

The National String Symphonia, Inc. is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
